Innovation Day October 1
From Proven Solutions to Scalable Impact
How can municipalities move faster from successful pilots to large-scale implementaion of sustainable solutions?
Welcome to Innovation Day, organized by ElectriCITY and Stockholm Business Region as part of Stockholm ImpACT Days 2026 – Re:Think Cities.
The day will showcase validated and market-ready innovations at the forefront of:
- Energy and mobility
- Water and resource management
- Circular fashion
- Urban agriculture
- Resilience and well-being
The day brings together municipal leaders, investors, innovative companies, researchers and procurement experts to explore how tested and validated solutions can move from successful pilots to wider implementation. Together with Adda, a company within the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, SKR, we will explore how public procurement can become a stronger driver of innovation, sustainable investment and scalable impact.
What to expect
Meet investors, municipal decision-makers, procurement leaders, researchers and innovative companies for a day featuring:
- Showcases of cutting-edge and validated innovations
- Real-world urban cases and circular business models
- Insights into public procurement and investment opportunities
- Discussions on implementation, scalability and export potential
- New partnerships between cities, companies, academia and investors
The purpose of Innovation Day is to help municipalities make informed and sustainable decisions while creating stronger opportunities for investment in solutions that have already been tested and validated – and to explore how these solutions can be implemented and scaled across municipalities and cities.
